Gestalt is a fantasy manga series by Yun Kōga that revolves around a mysterious and dangerous island called 'G'. A powerful god called Gestalt was banished to the earth and found refuge in the island. Father Olivier, a priest who has left his order, travels to the island to uncover its truth. He meets Ohri, a skilled magician, and together they face monsters and magic-users on their journey. The manga was serialized from 1993 to 2001 and has been adapted into an OVA series. There were also drama CDs and a light novel adaptation. The series is known for its comedy and parodies of fantasy role-playing games.
